Abstract:

The work builds a functional line as a system of concepts, facts and methods associated with the concept of a function. Its implementation in the "School-university" system is analyzed; the multidimensional nature of the line is established: the properties of functions form the theoretical basis for solving equations and inequalities, the concept of superposition is used in the method of change of variables, consideration of various invariant forms, etc. An appropriate problem system is proposed. The monograph is addressed to researchers in the field of educational innovations, university students studying mathematics, as well as mathematics teachers.
